Abstract

Series 4 of record group RG 66-42 consists of papers relating to the Harbor Point Resort Association in Emmet County, Michigan. Papers were accumulated by descendants of Benjamin F. Simons, one of the founders. Includes historical sketch of resort founded by group of Lansing, Michigan residents about 1878; published annual reports of the treasurer (1930-35); bylaws (1912); notices to stockholders, notices of fees due and letters relating mainly to the Simons cottage (1900-37).
